High Engagement Services
High Engagement Services
BCC’s High Engagement services are a lifeline and a catalyst for change for individuals, ages 14-29 years, struggling with the impact of persistent mental illness and/or substance use. Individuals who need a broad array of services and intensive supports, and who would benefit from this model, are identified during BCC's Clinical Admissions process.
BCC recognizes that individuals with mental illness often have experienced frequent hospitalization, foster care or criminal justice involvement, difficulties related to education and employment, family abandonment or conflict, and/or homelessness. Many have concurrent substance use disorders, disabilities, and/or functional challenges.
The multidisciplinary and diverse high engagement team of professionals emphasizes independence, rehabilitation, employment, advocacy, and integration.
These services include vocational/educational services, housing assistance, financial management, life skills instruction, peer support, and psychiatric and medication management.
