BCC welcomes you to our Family Center, a warm and friendly place designed for families and their children. We are located on the 4th floor at BCC, 645 Penn Street in Reading.
As a parent, you want the best for your child, but it can sometimes be difficult to identify the support they need. BCC is here to help when the challenges faced by children and adolescents feel overwhelming.
Our dedicated team of compassionate professionals includes licensed counselors, nurses, and a child and adolescent psychiatrist. We offer individually tailored services to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational issues, from mild to severe, ensuring that your child and family receive the support they need.

Services:
- Individual and Family Counseling for Children*
- Creative Play Therapy for Children
- School-Based Outpatient Counseling (SBOP)
- Individual, Group, and Family Counseling for Adolescents**
Evidence-based models of care include:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Motivational Interviewing (MI)
- Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
All BCC staff have training in trauma-informed care. Children, adolescents, and their families have access to board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists as well as on-site pharmacy services.*** Parents are included and supported throughout the process.
